Trip Itinerary

As of today there are 187 days until we travel.  Our departure date is set for July 1,2012.  Here is a general outline of our trip with a few add ins. Enjoy.



Day 1: Fly overnight to Switzerland

Day 2:

Arrive in Zurich

Travel to Lucerne

Day 3: Our Chalet- day visit

Mount Pilatus

A ride on a cogwheel train takes us up the steepest railway line in the world. As we travel up 7000 feet to the summit of Mount Pilatus in central Switzerland, the beautiful Alpine panorama unfolds revealing a vista over the lake and across the valley to the towns. A fine day at the base turns into a windy, cold, experience at the summit, but the views are breathtaking. Memories never to be forgotten.

Welcome to our blog

Hello everyone, I had a request from one of the girls to start a blog that will be a tool for us to stay in touch, somewhere we can refer to for up and coming events and information.  So, here it is!  I am fairly new to blogging, I did start a couple years ago, but am still playing with my other blog, so this will also be a work in progress.   

We will use this to post pictures while away and for girls to post messages and notes to friends and family at home, and a place where you can also comment on our travels.  I hope you enjoy this venue as a communication device and for a record of our happenings before, during and after our travels.
